Rev. Evan Taylor is a man in transition. He recently lead an 85-year-old congregation through a merging process and is now the Associate Minister at Forest Park Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Graduating from OSU-Okmulgee in 2000 with a photography degree, Evan ran his own successful commercial/editorial photography business being recognized by awards all over the country. Completing the Commissioned Ministers Training Program in 2015, he joined the staff at East Side Christian Church fulfilling his call into the ministry to create “wholeness in a fragmented world.” Evan is currently enrolled at Phillips Seminary pursuing a Masters in Social Justice and is leading outreach and children’s programing at Forest Park. His hobbies are reading, legos, scary movies and starting up funky art projects. Evan lives in Tulsa with his three kids, Jessie, Dexter and Ripley.
